PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Islam combines beliefs with practices and values to form this complete and integrated picture of our great religion.
In this program, we are working on entrenching those three elements in our students to make them real Muslims, and this is going to be achieved through:
- Studying the Six pillars of faith, for example, belief in Allah. This is achieved by knowing his names and attributes. Allah (SWT) said in the Quran:
“The most beautiful names belong to Allah, so call on him by them.” This is going to make you love Allah, get closer to him, and strengthen your belief in him.
2.Studying mainly the five pillars of Islam and other different acts of worship, obligatory practices, and duties in Islam. Allah (SWT) said:
“O mankind, worship your Lord who created you and those before you, so you may become pious.”
One of the simplest acts of worship you’re going to study in this course is Dhikr (remembrance of Allah). You’re going to know the meanings of some Du’aa and prayers (adhkar) that we need in our day and night, such as morning adhkar, evening adhkar, sleeping adhkar,…etc. Those adhkar helps you get connected with Allah all the time and get closer to him.
3.Studying the ethical values of Islam and some virtues and morals taken from Prophet Muhammad’s character about whom Allah told us in the Quran:” And indeed, you’re of a great moral character.”
Alhamdulelah we’re Muslims!
