Ramadan is the month of fasting and the Quran with a lot of spiritual and religious power. All Muslims around the world restrain themselves from drinking and eating from dawn to dusk.

Dedicating themselves to Allah only with intensive prayers and Ramadan dua to seek his blessings. For that reason, we will discuss the daily Ramadan dua for Muslims and its importance for them in this life and the hereafter.

Why Ramadan dua is important for Muslims

The holy month of Ramadan is a blessing from Allah for all Muslims, and its importance is known to all believers. One of the most important acts of worship in this month is dua Ramadan or supplication.

Generally, we should make dua regularly in all months but in the holy month of Ramadan, we should increase our dua to have more blessing and mercy from Allah S.W.T.

The importance of dua is of the greatest acts of ibadah (worship). It shows that you are subservient and acknowledge Allah as the Sovereign and Master. Thus dua raises your status.

Your sincerity dua is always accepted. Acceptance of a dua does not mean that it is the immediate result/outcome you are looking for. Rather, Allah will reward you for just raising your hands as Prophet Muhammad says in a hadith:

Salman al-Farsi reported: The Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah is munificent and generous. He would be ashamed, when a man raises his hands to him, to turn them away empty and disappointed.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhī)

The dua is no ordinary thing and therefore must possess extraordinary commitments. One can’t just make dua like he/she is asking just anyone anything.

It’s direct communication with Allah. When one is reporting to his parents or superior, there is composure and attention.

How to make Ramadan dua to Allah?

The main thing with Dua is that it must be made from the heart. Dua which is made from the heart will not be rejected by Allah, InshaAllah.

Dua can be made in any language. It doesn’t necessarily have to be in Arabic. Although, it is far superior if you do at least make the Masnoon dua’s in Arabic, the way the prophet Muhammad made them.

But you must know the meaning of what you’re saying; it’s very important. Even if you don’t know the word-for-word translation, you should at least have a general idea of what you’re asking Allah for.

One should be respectful in all manners to make Ramadan dua, clean in all ways, and obedient in all factors for his/he duas to be heard and answered.

So before making dua one needs to be clean, in a clean environment, and have full conviction and belief it would be answered.

Also, you need to be respectful, and humble, with no backbiting, and no sins of the eyes, limbs, and other organs. So be obedient, And watch how powerful the Ramadan dua becomes.
