As a Muslim, a hundred years from now, in Jannah, Inshallah, you may say: “I must’ve learned the Quran.” We all know that we must learn the Quran, but sometimes we need a refresher or a reminder. That’s why Allah sent you here, to remind you why you should learn the Quran online!

“A hundred years from now, folks will look back at this period and think, Wow, what an incredible moment it must’ve been to be alive.”

The question you will ask yourself will determine the course of your life. In this article, we will ask you, us, and every Muslim: “Why should someone not learn Quran Online?”

Before starting this article, we do not take there is no Quran teaching school nearby because there are Quran classes online; you can enroll in them anytime.

Learn Quran online In Arabic to Please Allah

When you love someone from the bottom of your heart, you will:

  • always try to please him.
  • casually send him a gift.
  • read and reread his messages.
  • think of innovative ways to make him happy.

And now, in a pure moment of faith, let’s all ask ourselves: is there any better way to please Allah than reciting, understanding, and memorizing the Quran in Arabic, his final sacred words?

Simple equation: The more we recite the Quran in Arabic, the closer we get to Allah. The closer we get to our creator, the more he will be pleased with us.

The 1st reason not to learn Quran Online is that one does not want to please Allah (or is doing things more important than learning Allah’s words).

Learn Quran online to rank higher in Jannah.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “One who was devoted to the Qur’an will be told to recite, ascend and recite carefully as he recited carefully when he was in the world, for he will reach his abode when he comes to the last verse he recites.”

When we were kids (and maybe until now), we all wanted to rank higher in schools, video games, and almost every competitive environment.

The 2nd reason not to learn Quran Online is “that one does not want to rank higher on judgment day.”

Quran recitation: Rewards, Rewards, and More Rewards

Narrated Muhammad bin Ka’b Al-Qurazi:

“I heard ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah’s Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.”

+3.2m rewards from simply reciting the whole Quran. I could not think of a more straightforward way to gain rewards through Quran recitation in Arabic. You earn a reward for each letter, and this reward multiplies 10 times. If you spend 20 minutes simply reciting 20 pages of the Quran each day, you will finish the whole Quran in one month. The Quran has +320.000 letters.

323671 times 10 = +3.2 m rewards. These are the rewards – InshAllah- from reciting the Quran in Arabic. What about memorizing it and learning its meanings? Only Allah knows what reward is awaiting us.

The 3rd reason not to learn Quran online is “no interest in the tremendous amount of eternal rewards.”

Learn Quran online To become wiser

Reasons to learn Quran online

“..Nothing have we omitted from the Book” Al-An’am:38. “And I did not create the jinn and humankind except to worship Me.” Adh-dhariyat:56

Who created me?

Where am I?

What shall I do?

Where will I go?

These are the most critical questions humans have ever asked. Philosophers, scientists, artists, and almost everyone tried to answer these big questions, and no one has ever given humanity satisfying answers except Almighty Allah.

From the purpose of creation to the tiniest details about how you should behave with your wife. The Quran is the ultimate source of wisdom in such a crowded world. The closer you get to it, the more you understand life’s most important questions and dilemmas.

The 4th reason not to learn Quran online is “no interest in becoming wiser.”

Become healthier by reading and learning Quran in Arabic.

“And We send down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe” Al-Isrā:82.

We think the Quran is a religious book and forget about other aspects of this sacred text. Muslims overlook the vast health benefits of reciting the Quran in Arabic. Now, someone may say:

Question: “What is your clue from QURAN that QURAN has health benefits?” . The answer comes from (Quran itself): “We send down the Quran as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss.”- Al-Isrā:82.

Objection: Allah may mean here “spiritual” healing.

Answer (from science). A study on a group of Saudi men aged 20 to 96 discovered a robust linear association between Quran memorization and hypertension, diabetes, and depression, indicating that those who had memorized a more considerable portion of the Quran were less likely to develop one of these diseases.

The 5th reason not to learn  Quran online is that “one may not be interested in becoming healthier.”

Learn Quran online To boost your memory

According to a study done by the Alzheimer’s Association on 580 subjects aged between 20 and 40, memorizing the Quran boosts people’s memory and helps prevent Alzheimer’s disease development.

Context: The study focused on the effect of memorizing the Quran on the mental stimulation of subjects’ neurons, and it concluded that those who memorized the Quran had stronger neuronal connections, and as a result, they are less likely to develop mental disorders.

The 6th reason not to learn Quran online is that “one may not be interested in boosting his memory.”

Learn Quran To be constantly reminded.

Like we said in the beginning, life may take us away from the most important things. Learning the Quran online or offline will keep us constantly busy with Allah’s words.

Whether in online courses or with friends and family; we will be busy understanding his words and memorizing or revising them. What a blessing!

The 7th reason not to learn  Quran online is “when someone may not be interested in constant reminders of Allah’s message.”

Impotance of Online Quran classes for kids

In  Arabic we say: العلم في الصّغر كالنقش على الحجر. It means “Knowledge in childhood is like engraving on a stone” (Sorry, we assume that you don’t speak Arabic; that’s why we are translating for you 🙂

Sigmond Freud agreed with that. He even considered that the first years of a person’s life determine 90% of his personality.

In the age of social media, smartphones, and surrounding Fitnah, teaching your child the Quran through Quran classes Online will instill values and morals at a very young age that probably won’t be washed away for a lifetime. It will indeed anchor Islamic values and serve him in the storms of Dunia.

And when your child grows up and feels a little bit lost, your child will recall Allah’s words: “And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything) .”When life starts feeling like an unbearable burden, a sacred sound will whisper from a nearby place: “Your Lord did not abandon you, nor is He displeased.”
